As we go through life, we receive many blessings and gifts; we also get hit with blows and insults of all kinds. As a result, we develop a body-armor, a holding pattern. Many times this becomes our weak spot, where we get hit again and again. The imbalance can manifest physically, emotionally, and often both.

My unique combination of Japanese Acupuncture with Trigger Point Release is a profound and effective way to approach one’s unique story of imbalance and to enable shifts in those holding patterns. It is an amazing tool to unthread the patient’s experience of illness and promote the experience of health, growth and a will to be well throughout the body-mind-soul continuum. The treatment is a dynamic relationship between patient and practitioner, based on trust and open communication, key factors for healing. Accordingly, I spend a lot of time with my patients and I view myself as a guide in their healing path. 

​I treat patients for a wide variety of illnesses, imbalances, blockages and their manifestations: muscular and skeletal imbalances, chronic pain, sports-related injuries, headaches, sinus problems, allergies and other immune issues, diabetes, thyroid imbalances and other autoimmune diseases, circulatory problems, gastrointestinal difficulties, chronic fatigue, adrenal exhaustion, emotional imbalances, hormonal imbalances, infertility and many other conditions. I treat the whole person, not just the illness and I help my patients restore their own balance and health.

In addition to needling, I use moxibustion, cupping, gua-sha, tui-na, E-stim, Chinese herbs, Tuning Forks, Light Therapy, Reiki, Biomat therapy, Bach Flowers remedies, Essential Oils, sound healing, humor (an ancient yet effective art of healing) and singing (free of charge, though sometimes patients pay me so I stop singing..)
